My name is John William Rogers the IV, although I prefer to be addressed as Will. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, I now reside in Dyer, Indiana. At 23 years old, I possess a fervent passion for graphic arts that first ignited during my middle school years, where I engaged in creating video game assets for projects developed with friends. My educational journey has been deeply rooted in honing my artistic skills. At Lake Central High School, I pursued courses in web design, graphic arts & layout, and was accepted into the esteemed Area Career Center in Hammond during my senior year, specializing in their graphic arts program. This program, tailored for high school students, offered invaluable insights and hands-on experience in various trade jobs. Presently, I am enrolled at Purdue University Northwest, pursuing a degree in Computer Graphics Technology BHS. Here I am immersed in technology and graphics from coding to 3d modeling. Alongside my core studies, I am actively engaged in exploring complementary disciplines such as photography, videography, graphic arts, programming, and technology. Since 2020, I have had the privilege of working at Lithographic Communications, where I hold the role of a pressman. As head pressman, I oversee operations on a Heidelberg Printmaster 74-4, ensuring optimal printing quality and efficiency. Additionally, I contribute to bindery and mailing operations during downtimes, further enhancing my expertise in the industry at large.
